Who this is for
If you are Syrian and missing all or part of a limb, you can register. It does not matter how it happened, when it happened, or where you live now.
Wounded in the war or in detention
Shelling, airstrikes, gunfire, injuries sustained in the prisons of the former regime, and the landmines and unexploded shells still buried in the ground today.
Born with a limb difference
Children and adults who were never fitted with anything, because the clinic was too far, too expensive, or no longer standing.
Anyone whose limb no longer fits
A prosthesis left behind while fleeing, a socket that hurts, a child who has outgrown theirs, a knee joint that broke years ago and was never repaired.
What happens after you register

A caseworker calls you
Within two weeks we call to confirm your details, answer your questions, and book a measurement appointment at the clinic nearest to you.
Measurement, casting and fitting
A prosthetist takes the cast, builds the socket, and adjusts it until it carries your weight without hurting. If you cannot travel, a mobile team comes to you.
Rehabilitation, and every year after
Physiotherapy until you can use the limb confidently, then free repairs and re-fitting for as long as you need them. Children receive a new socket as they grow.
Fourteen governorates. A clinic in each one.
Nobody should cross the country on one leg to be measured for the other. Our plan is a permanent prosthetics and rehabilitation clinic in every governorate, supported by mobile teams for villages and for patients who cannot travel.
Register from anywhere. Until the clinic in your governorate opens, we will arrange your fitting at the nearest site and cover the cost of getting there.

Answer what you can. If you do not know something, leave it — we will ask on the phone. Fields marked with a red star are the ones we cannot proceed without.
Your information is confidential. It is seen only by the SLI medical and case team. We do not share names, addresses or the cause of an injury with any government, army, or third party, and we never publish a patient's details without written permission. You can ask us to delete your file at any time. If you were injured in detention and prefer not to say so, choose “prefer not to say” — it will not affect your care.

Building fourteen clinics takes more than goodwill
We are looking for people and institutions who can put something concrete behind this — a workshop, a container of components, a month of a prosthetist's time, or the rent on a room in a governorate we have not reached yet.
